On 23 November 2007, Louis was invited to become an airship captain in Sios by his friend jacen_ma. Although he later realised this was primarily to gain a referral bonus (damn that cunning TYLER Recruitment Guild!), he enjoyed the life of an airship captain enough to continue flying the LTT Kinslayer.

Although starting out an Explorer, Louis soon tired of "exploring rocks!" and having to clean bird droppings off his ship. When he'd heard about TYLER Recruitment's offer of a free retraining programme, he took the opportunity to go into commerce and became a Trader instead, piloting the Azure Blue. Unfortunately Louis realised too late that there was a reason it was the least popular class in Sios, but he found he rather enjoyed being one of these under-represented minorities.

Louis was looking forward to becoming a slow rammer by loading an Obsidian Destroyer full of Giga Drill Breakers, but his plans were ruined when the Al Amraan Shipyard was unable to produce a ship as roomy as initial specs had predicted. Thankfully he was able to get a refund on the ship, but figures he will buy ships from Jade Archipelago Harbour's Dragon Shipbldg. Co. in the future.

After an extended vacation lasting a few months, Louis dusted off his ship and resumed captaining the Rum Runner, slowly purchasing equipment for his unequipped trading vessel. No longer competing for a top spot in Sios, Louis now enjoys leisurely exploring the world.
